Renu beauty Salon, a trendy salon in Shanghai, is undergoing a major overhaul.
The Shanghai government plans to bring back the salon to its former glory.
In July, the government gave Renu the go-ahead to reopen.
The new salon will be the third-oldest salon in the city.
It closed in June 2016.
The company said it will begin the transformation in the next two months.
The salon will have a brand new atmosphere and more spacious spaces, it said.
The cosmetics and beauty products company said the new salon is expected to bring in about $3.4 million a year, up from about $1.4-million last year.
Renu said it was looking for the best staff and staff that are committed to working together, with a vision to open the salon at least once a week.
The salon is part of Renu’s growing portfolio of brands, including Beautymark and Dior.
More to come.
