A little bit of pink.
A little more pink.
What do you get?
A pink dress.
And a pink purse.
And pink socks.
And more pink socks and dresses.
So if you’re like me, you’ve been searching for a dress that is perfectly matching your pink-and-peach wardrobe.
Or maybe you’re a pink-fleece-wearing, lipstick-waving, nail-painting, eyelash-loving, pink-y-dipping, pinkest-pink-femme-pixie-sneaker-toting girl with a penchant for pink heels.
Then you might be in luck.
Sophia’s Beauty Salon in downtown L.A. is selling pink dresses for a mere $29.99 and some pink heels for just $18.99.
You don’t need to be a princess to wear a pink dress, says Sophia’s owner, Stephanie Zorich, who opened her beauty salon in 2010.
She’s just as happy with pink shoes as anyone else.
“You know, if you can find a shoe that you like, that fits your personality and your personality is going to match your outfit,” she says.
And that’s exactly what you can get with Sophia’s.
If you want a dress with the perfect pink skirt and pink lace, you can expect to pay between $35 and $40 at Sophia.
If you’re looking for a pink tie, you’re also looking at about $18-$20.
The same goes for the pink purse, which is the only item on the store’s website for sale.
But if you are a true-blue, pinkie-loving woman who likes to wear pink-printed shoes, you may be happy with a $29-plus price tag.
You’re not alone.
“I think it’s really cool,” says Jessica Fong, who recently opened her own beauty salon on Sunset Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.
She says she finds that pink dresses are “so much fun, I actually wear them for a few days before I leave for work and then I wear them again,” and “it just makes me feel more confident.”
Zorich’s daughter, Sofia, also wears pink shoes, even if they are pink-leather-soled ones.
Sofia says that Sophia’s is one of the only stores in L.I. that sells pink heels, as well as pink dresses.
“It’s really fun,” Sofia said.
“The only thing that’s weird is that it’s very hard to find a pink shoe for $29, but it’s so much fun to find the pink dress for $18, which I think is pretty cute.”
I’m not the only one who feels that way.
According to Zorch, Sophia’s sales have doubled every year since she opened.
And when you look at all the merchandise she sells, there are a lot of things to love.
“They’re always new, new, different,” Zorach says.
“This is the first year I have all new colors.
The only thing I like is the shoes.
They’re really good.”
If you can’t find a pair of pink shoes for $30, you are probably looking at a pair that costs $25-$30.
If that’s not enough, there’s a pink wig and a pink shirt available for just over $30.
And if you like to wear dresses with pink in them, you should be able to find those for $15.
You can find that dress for less than $30 at a local Macy’s, and the other items for less at a Target or Home Depot.
If the prices are just a little too much, Sophia is also offering an online coupon for the price of one dress for two people.
So you can spend less than you would at a traditional store and still get a dress.
And the prices don’t stop there.
You might also find some pink makeup that is also pink, but for a little more money.
“Some people don’t like the color of the lipstick,” says Zoroch.
“If you have pink lipstick, you want it pink.
But there’s no such thing as a pink lipstick with a pink eye.”
So there you have it: A little something for everyone, whether you’re searching for the perfect dress or the perfect nail polish.
