The Estrella Beauty Salon in the Haitian capital, Port-Au-Prince, has been closed for a few months due to lack of funds, local news website, Estrella, reported.
Estrella said the salon was closed for four months and reopened for a week.
It said the Salon’s website and Facebook page were also taken offline.
The salon was founded in 2010 and is a centre for beauty products, cosmetics and hair care.
Esther Guzman, the salon’s director, said the closure is a “disappointing news”.
“I think it’s very sad because we have a great atmosphere here, a good atmosphere.
It’s a good place for people to come to.
I hope that they will reopen,” she said.
The Estrella salon was shut down for four days due to a lack of money.
It reopened on February 14.
